And of course they think it so fuckin delicious because if anything is ever meant to NOT be delicious in manga, it has eyeballs, tentacles and a purple miasma... which this doesn't. They could put sparkles on literal dogshit and characters would all comment on how delicious it was.

For that matter, the toilet was probably programmed to announce how delicious everything dumped into it is too. You absolutely fuckin know a talking toilet that praises your waste products would be totally Japanese.

the glasses and cakes I understand because they're pretty basic, but the whole Japanese trash food being god tier to fantasy world people needs to die in a ditch. Most food like that are acquired tastes and if it's actually it's virtually certain they would *hate* a lot of it.

@TheFollower honestly, back when i first encountered the “JP cooking supreme” thing, it was neat, but after 20 or so different novels doing the same thing, i just skip all the cooking sections unless the novel is like Izakaya Nobu or Isekai Shokudou
