@joda1000 @ShionVaynex i do not care about the jutification, it i clearly implied that there is a master-servant shtick going on and you can justify it however you want the authour is still a real person living in the 21st centuries and a you can observe there is a clear leaning toward slavery related tropes with Japanese manga authour which i find alarming and disgusting to some degree, why should it be a fantasy to own someone (also "monster" isn't an excuse, if fish could talk and communicate with humans in the real word you'd bet your ass we'd give them "human" rights, you're kinda deranged if you think we shouldn't because it's a different species like "monster") it's to a less extent the same train of thought as "it's okay to own that person because they got a dark skin tone", now anyone saying that is disgusting and what can be read from that is "it's ok coz he different" which ALWAYS applicable to the tropes in these mangas

@FireCamp Do you really think it is better in reality? In Countries like the USA or China she would have died trough execution, in every other country she would never had been out of a prison again... quite honestly, depening on the form of slavery it is not even as bad as what we would have actually done... (And while I like you train of thought: 'if fish could talk and communicate with humans in the real word you'd bet your ass we'd give them "human" rights' ... you can bet your ass we would NOT, we always try to give everyone different then us as least rights as possible, maybe it was worse 100 years ago, but that doesnt mean we are great now...)
I totally get you, I even agree, the obvious leaning towards slavery topics in so many mangas weirds me out too and the excuses to use slavery are always nonsense... but your way of argumenting it is that we are better then that and sadly, while we like to think we are, in reality we aren't.

It's a common dark theme (as dark as murder), but this one has more in line with a mage-and-their-familiar trope, so you're probably just assuming things.

and just like how including dark themes would be interesting, subverting them would be too, which is probably what you often see with many isekai stories
also, murder is apparently fine (not really) as long as the victim is a bad guy or a monster, or their death is "for the greater good" or "to save the world".
2) critique the author. don't paint a broad brush over a country that you're not in. that's all you have to do. your first comment seemed holier than thou. though if you actually hate Japan then i guess that's fine.
still, you're probably jumping into conclusions as to what's about to happen. it's probably not slavery. well, it would be terrible if it ended up being a mind control or a brainwash. at the very least, it's a contract that's gonna prevent them from being separated.
