Living in This World With Cut & Paste - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.2

Feel like I read this chapter already, but I love how they put lives in quotes, I don't know if this fantasy world jails for life or executes bandits to save cash but either way its kinda hilarious. The impact he gets realizing he stole skills fails to account for the fact they were bandits who weren't trying to hold them hostage but straight up murder them all, and he feels bad for stealing their skills, not ensuring their deaths amidst the confusion.

It'd be better if lives wasn't in quotes, because I'm pretty sure in that situation, it is far more literal, and that them acknowledging they lost the fight and will either die or rot in jail the Mc realizes the sheer horror of his ability, it doesn't kill someone but it ruins their life (provided their life actually involves using their skills). He should come to that conclusion after first coming to terms with the fact that he essentially committed manslaughter, leaving the Foes crippled and easily beaten.

He acknowledged that looking at skills is a dick move, but first thing he does is look at their skills and then abuse that to save his skin. I'd prefer the thief got up to Rob them and he used judgement and taken him down with the standard cut, either murdering him there or losing consciousness due to blood loss, then had the flashback and used paste to glue the horse shoes to the ground and throw a rider or two, then in a burst of desperation remembers the words and steals their skills to save himself, making this decision much more plausible than the child who openly admits viewing others' status is a dick move but does it first chance for fun and coincidentally ends up finding a bandit

Well, just another self-insert manga with a character who becomes OP without any effort.

I'll give it a chance for now, in case it has anything deeper than a Mary Sue character.

Thanks for the chapter. I'm hoping to see more creative uses of his original skills. MC is already almost as OP as the usual isekai protagonist.

Interesting that the church or whatever is interested in his Judgment skill. Maybe he's not the first to use it like that.

now cut paste is too OP if there is no limit, he can easily acquired anyone skill/ability, human or monster or maybe even dragon. Let's wait for the next few chapters to see what's interesting.

Seems to be another generic OP protagonist. I had hoped the author would spend more time with the premise of skill combinations and how different people use them.

That the guy who performed the ritual took notice might head somewhere interesting.

hmm... what if he Cut and paste the class? then he can get every job class he want
or more terrifying... cut the gender... LOL
what happen if he 'Cut' the age or the name....?
damn what dangerous skills combination....

Come on guys, even thinking about cutting gender is too terrifying being a guy myself.

the gods might as well let the cut skill to just cut anything and however the user wants...

Might've been cool if he wrestled more with the implications of his abilities

for the greater good but he cut other people sewing and cooking skill? seems kinda fishy

Sooooooo....he beat a strong orc with common skills? Doesn't that mean a lot of people are quite op already if they know how to use it?

@vannn

You mean that people have to give up their skills to him even if they don't really want to, since they can't really refuse due to the implication?
