that's part of the issue with dealing with OP protagonists in these kinds of settings, inevitably they run into the edge cases of their world's etiquette. Myne's skillset goes against the religious doctrine of the nation, but also he isnt really doing anything "wrong" per se, and also it is a bit ridiculous if anyone did find out and try to argue against him using his skill considering he got it from the same god they all worship. The guild master knows Myne is suspicious and wants the truth so he can trust him, but Myne is also aware he would be a pariah if anyone else knew the truth of his situation.

In almost all stories the adventurer's guild is always the most distant from religious ties in terms of accepting this or that, unless the case is that the church provides healing services as a joint operation with said guild. This is one of those cases where I believe guild master makes zero sense, why would you want to purposefully antagonize someone you know has power beyond the norm?

Myne had power and skills beyond what he was known to have and to be possible to own.
So his reaction of 'Tell me or be punished' isn't necessarily wrong, because it could be a pretty major thing.
However, the unofficial taboo (if not official) of actually demanding someone to tell you their skills also exists.
Which makes his demands seem pretty bad actually.
Basically, he had some right in demanding to know what he shouldn't be allowed to demand to know, but he did it to decrease further risks, but he also took it too far.
And most importantly, he upset Aisha.

@WillTell : Is is showing the Guildmaster's hypocrisy. Myne broke a rule, but it was one where he was in his rights to break that rule since the GM was abusing his authority to get what he wanted. However there are numerous others who have broken more rules, and caused issues for the guild, who are still members. Those likely include individuals were reprimanded by the GM and broke more rules but a still members. Simply put the GM has no valid excuse for expelling Myne as long as the rest are still members since genuinely did nothing wrong as the GM was well out of place in his demands but the others have, and will continue to, cause issues for the guild. If anything the question just shows how crappy a Job the GM is doing, he has lost 3 adventurers in a few days largely due to his own mismanagement.

@wanfai : If I recall, the guild is pretty much filled with social outcasts and exists on the fringes of society. That the C-Rank idiot went straight to murder over a girl is a good example of that. The guild master does have a responsibility to the guild, and could use that to justify needing to know Mines skills. But what is more important is that Myne is someone who would bring positive results to the guild, and good PR. Quite frankly Mynes skill set is not what was important, but the results and the Guild master has no excuse for not realizing that.
